Default Advice on wrist support.......

Im after some advice on what wrist support to use. In short ive got a broken scaphoid (thumb/wrist), which ive had for the past 4 years. Its an ongoing problem which im awaiting treatment for. However over christmas i did a bit of weight training, just to tone up really and now want to get on it again!

The thing is, i need to find something to support my wrist as best i can whilst training. I understand its risky, and chances are i will have issues with my wrist still but i need to get back into training as much as possible!

Thanks!

Inline skating wrist guards or Snowboarding wrist guards should assist if hyper extending your wrist is a worry.

Only issue you'll then get is that your working around your injury rather than strengthening it.

I used the above successfully a few years back after the bones in my hand and forearm(both on the same side) were smashed to bits.

That sounds like the place to look then, tbh i can do certain exercises without supporting it as in some directions its not a problem, however i would like something i can trust to support it enough to do some training. Ever since ive broken it ive been totally against putting any loading onto it, but its got to the point now where i need to really!
