is it better to eat before you go to the gym or afterwards? i get in from work at about 5 and get off to the gym about 6.00 and dont know if its best to eat dinner before of after? will eating before give you energy for the work out or will it leave you bloated for the work out?

It differs from person to person, but I personally prefer to have something to eat before I go to the gym. That way I don`t get hungry half way through my workout. I also have a protein shake and banana to keep the hunger off till I get home. Try it different ways and see what suits you

i would recomend eating after the gym, shake before, eating before a workout is pretty pointless as the energy from the food wont be avalable for about 3 hours after its eaten, so if you eat at 3pm the energy will be there around 6 ish. also depends what your goals are, morning workouts with just a shake b4 are good for lean building as there is not much in your stomache, there is loads off info out there, but i would say to find a work out and diet online and follow it cos it gets rlly complex, gary
