Default Just a quick question - please help

I cant stand the taste of ANY supplement powders. I mix with water and the taste is so bad it makes me heave. Im not a fan of normal 'thick' drinks like milkshake etc and just cant get used to drinking it.

Is it ok to mix the powder with yoghurt and eat it down?

Its whey protein powder BTW.

Cheers

PS - I have tried different flavours and brands but its getting expensive now lol

Cheers again

You get used to it mate. You dont drink it because it tastes nice... I just down it all the time.

You could try with milk and see how it goes or you can, as you say, put it in a yogurt but far better to drink it.

Just dont think about it and go for it!

I just down it all in 1 go... It isn't meant to taste great.

Problem with taking with milk and possibly yoghurt is it makes the protein slow releasing...

I was told to take with milk at night so my body was gtettting the protein through the night

I've just finished a tub of Body Fortress chocolate flavour whey protein powder from Holland&Barrett. Actually quite like the taste mixed with milk or water, but that might just be me

you dont HAVE to take the suppliment through a liquid, its just easier that way and does tend to break down into the body faster.

there are other ways to take the powderd suppliments, have a look at the sticky at the top of the forum, tells you how to make your own protein bars which i believe they use the suppliment powder for.

theres no point making yourself sick forcing yourself to take it when theres other alternatives, give them a try

mix it with porridge in the morning mate, then thats one time less you have to worry about taste

mix some nesquick powder with it, hides the taste a bit, i used to do that a few years ago

I can reccomend the Reflex instant Whey, as compared to other protein powders ive had its much thinner. I remember once trying this stuff that was so thick i nearly was sick each time too.
