Right..

Back at the gym now after 3 months out.. how much hard work is it.. Seems all the work I put in before has gone and am struggling with some weights now.

The guy there said to a lighter weight with more reps to get muscles bacck in, then go for larger weights and smaller reps.

This sound right?

I'm back on the Creatine and Whey protein shakes.. as well as Amino Acid tablets.

Hurting a bit from last night but back down tonight!

the bigger the wieght
the less reps you do
the moer the muscle grows
the lighter the wieght
the more reps you do
the less the muscle grows

but

you get it used to being used as it is, so you don't hurt as much
you should always start with light wieghts so you can get a system going

have you spoken toanyone about the routine you are going to be doing? normally they will tell you if it's good or bad or what to change

Pain is good man. Pain is good.

Do what feels right mate, but dont stop lifting on your excersize until you actually cant lift anymore, otherwise you are just toning.

Muscle memory is well documented mate, you will have it back in no time.
