Default Performance enhancing drinks

Anyone on here using any form of sports drinks to increase stamina and recovery time from exercise?
If so have you noticed any difference and what do you recommend

The best recovery product is creatine. Used by body builders and athletes.

Everyone is different so there isn't really a simple answer, as a standard, aim to have about 50g carbs anywhere between 5-30 mins before training and the same 45-60 mins after training to replace glycogen losses.

If your not cutting then you could add some malto/dextrine to your post workout protein shake (usually 2:1) and just see how you feel and adjust accordingly.

Im assuming that AWK-53 means recovery AFTER working out, i.e, being prepared for the next session, not purely between reps.

Creatine only works at 95%+ effort to help counter lactic acid build up and MAY be good for 1 or 2 reps on a workout.

Not everyone responds to creatine, i personally find it does nothing for me.

O and also, it doesn't help muscle recovery from ANY form of exercise

The reason I was asking guys is because I have applied to join the fire brigade and have got through the first stage of the physical tests. I have now been invited down to Reigate for further physical tests and was looking for something to help me recover faster, ready for the next test

Forget what its called, but its got Ephidrine, Caffine, Speed, Thyroxine, and summat called something like Nyarotine or summat.

Woulnt say its legal, no idea how wildly bad it is for you, dont know the amounts of each (but there a lot) but for Stamina its a good look, it makes you feel like the Incredible Hulk

Im sure some of the more experienced meatheads on here will be able to help you with the finer points tho
