Default injured myself - daren't train - advice

I rolled my car about 2 week ago (05 plate 2.0 tdci focus )
and after totalling the car I managed to get out etc

but have hurt my shoulder - from the seatbelt more than anything - nothing really has came out in the way of bruising and the nurse at hospital said looks ok, just muscle damage probably take a while to ease up - take ibrupofen etc...

I have good and bad days with it and can generally feel a dull ache - really feels weak and painful if I lift awkwardly with it though....

now thing is... I was just getting back into training and all was going well and I was starting to feel good about things and get myself back on track.

Has anyone got any tips on getting over this injury quickly or what I can do?

rest from training, but maintain movement and i suspect a physio would give you an elastic band which enables you to put light forces on the damaged muscle. Id avoid training, but maybe do a few very very light exercises that exercise the injuried muscle (e.g. shoulder presses with a a big bottle of water. However, physio insnt my area and do not do anything which makes the muscle sore or tender etc. I am aware though that one the main problems in sport and exercise is reoccuring injuries due to reuturning to exercise or a sport to soon.

Look on the bright side though, you can put more effort into your leg training, and once the shoulder is healed you can focus on that.

Paul.
