Starting to do weights where to start?

Default Starting to do weights where to start?

Alright chaps
Basicly lost a good amount of weight (fat) so now feel im not going to really loose any more and have been told not to loose any more by family and friends so now iv decided to start doing weight wich i havnt dome for 2-3years id imagine.problem is i can only train monday,tuesday and thursday evenings.cant do any other days due to other comitments.i cNt afford to go to a gym so have certain equpment hopefully with your guys help i can train all/most muscles so they all look in proportion.my aim isnt to get big just a slight more muscular look about myself .iv taken some pics of the stuff iv got so hopefully you guys can help sort me out a plan of what to do and when ect .i know its not the best equipment but its all iv got im affraid.


This you pull or push againts i presume for your chest?


Dumbells


Here theres the bottom metal ball type connector you attatch a bar to wich i presum is for triceps? (im geussing lol) an the bottom to black fome pads are for leg extensions if that makes sense?


Pull down bar


Peck deck type thing


Bar

Iv also got stacks of weights so no problems there but and help will be really muchly appreciated.

weight is weight no matter id its in a fancy gym or on your garage floor,the tricj is to use it correctly,if your going to trian 4 time per week set yourself a programme to trian 2 body parts per day
example
mod chest and tri
tues shoulders and traps
wed off
thurs back and bis
friday legs and calfs
sat off
sun off
go on you tube and take a look at different home exercises you can do with what gear you have,keep the exercises strict "light and do it right" is the saying.
iam sure there will be a lot more opinions along soon so you can pick into them all to work out what you need.

Thanks pete ill have a look on youtube.im not very good with muscle groups ect but what youv done for me there is spot on,as in what to train on what days .

Can i ask mate where do you go kickboxing? Iirc thats what you do?

I didnt train in kickboxing although we did fight them in comps,I did taekwondo schooled in my village.
gave it up now as my son has changed schools and music has taken over his life,so we dont get time to go now.
I just go to the gym now to try to keep in shape

So how many excerisers idealy should you do on the muscle group when you train it?

no you shouldnt its called working oposites muscle groups also allowing muscle to rest,yes you can work 1 muscle group but havnt your heard of over training,set a routine for say 3 months then change it
