Default Should i warm up before lifting dumbells?

As title, ive been lifting my dumbells for years on and off and every time i use them i just do a few reps on each arm first and then rest a minute, then i carry on doing my different exercises.

Should i be doing more to warm up or will the above suffice?

always warm up no matter what exercise you do

5/10 mins light cardio to get the blood pumping then if doing weights a coulple of sets of light weight reps to stretch the muscle and again get the blood flowing so you dont injure yourself, also a warm down is just as important

I always do one warm up set of approx half the weight of my first proper set. Nice and controlled. I must admit o have every intention of doing some light cardio before weights but often it is overlooked due to time etc.
Cheers, Chris
