Default Cycling or Rowing

I've decided it's time to lose my beer belly and get back into shape. I've started eating/drinking properly and also some light weight training.

Due to the hours i work i can't go to the gym so i work out at home. I'm looking at getting a cycling/rowing machine. What would you recommend would be the best? Basically i'm just looking to lose some fat.

Thanks

the rowing machine is probably the best workout machine you can get as it works the wholel body

I'd get a cross trainer if I had room but that's just me.I prefer to cycle than the rower also but again it's just personal preference.

Cycling is enjoyable as you can travel around, maybe nip into town, but combined with weights at home would be the best idea.
