I would suggest going to somewhere like Slimming World tbh, The weight loss on Atkins is great over a long period of time, if you dont mind high blood pressure and cholesterol.

As a guide, ive got a 2 men who joined last week both lost 7lbs in 1st week, ive got 1 bloke whos lost 1st 3lbs in 4 weeks

Done it loads of times mate!! Keep carbs below 20g for the first 10 days then take them to 25g for 10 days and see how you feel. Common sides are headaches and constipation. Keep eating protien as you will feel hungry. Loads of chicken, tuna, eggs, turkey, cheese and some nuts. Keep on eating every 2 hours to stop feeling hungry. Also take a good multi-vit and drink at least 6 pints of water a day to keep body clean as you will be consuming higher fats than normal. A good one is peanut butter. Eat it straight from the tub, you will get used to it, very sticky and bland but it fills you up!

The weight will drop off! If you keep protien high you wont loose any muscle mass. This is very important as the body will be tapping into its own fats for energy when there are no are very low carbs. Trouble is it also taps into muscle for energy, you dont want to loose muscle so essential to keep protien levels above 200g a day.

Indeed you can bud.

This diet is what I have used so many times to cut up. As long as protien intake is high then you can train and still have lots, well, normal amounts of energy!

It does mate - tells you everything. It even gives you and 3 week example dawn till dusk eating plan which you can follow and swap around. You need to properly look into the site. i might be able to find a link
