Fitness and weight training discussion.Being a car fanatic doesnt mean you have to drive around with a beer belly and 4chins!! Chat to like minded folk in here and get yourself back to a decent health and fitness level in no time.
After a long long time away from any form of structured fitness training ( I used to sprint for a running club and county till I was about 16 ) I've decided to return to it and get my fitness up for some things i'm going to be doing in the summer. Ie some Coast to coast cycle rides, London to Brighton etc etc
Now I try to be aware of my fitness and I cycle regularly.
I started doing a circuit training class at the gym after christmas and am looking to go running and swimming maybe once a week each to supplement my overall fitness. With all this in mind I bought a heart rate monitor as i thought it would be fun to see how I was doing and use it for setting targets in sessions
As of today my Resting Heart rate is 49 bpm, i'm 31, 6 foot and 13 stone 3.
Is that any good? ( I need to read up on what to do with the HRM now I have one lol! )
