19 and looking to bulk..(myprotein) *need info*
wanting to pack n the pounds..
19, 5'8 and 10.5 stone..
ideally i want to put on 1.5 stone, 12 stone and ripped at 5'8 will look nice imo..
ive got an ok diet (could be alot better) but i dont realy get time to eat much in the day so i eat when ever i get chance..
i go to the gym 3 times a week, mon/wed/fri and sometimes thursday to do legs..
im looking at getting a weight gain and protein sup to give me that boost to gain some mass..
been looking on myprotein at the weight gainer (6lb) and unflavoured whey (4.4kg)
obviously i dont want to jump into the roid scene if i can help it..
any advice welcome
thanks guys..

Dont go on gear, at least not till you`ve trained your body to its natural maximum. Haven`t looked at the protein you`ve mentioned but I`d be looking at sorting your eating out completely first. Not eating during the day will do you no favours. The protein and weight gainer are only supplements to a proper diet. Make sure you have a legs night every week, you dont want a big top half and skinny legs. Plus, dont quote me on it but because legs are such a big muscle group I`ve been told training them promotes the release of testosterone in your body. Hope that helps in someway.

thanks mate
yer i do want to get my diet nailed first as you have said, but as i live on my own at 19 its hard financially to keep shopping and getting the correct foods
yer ive heard the same about working the legs releasing testosterone, as ive only been going to the gym for a month or so now (used to home train) so will have to start training legs once a week..

I do two leg exercises every time I'm in the gym, rather than one night specifically on them. I cant remember why now, but the guy I used to train with always said this was the best way to do it. It might not be, but it definitely works for me.
As already said though, for bulking, diet is key. You say you live yourself and cant always afford the correct foods, but for one tub of whey protein cost, you could buy yourself 100 eggs, which are better for you in the long run.
To save money, eat a lot of turkey. Its always cheap, has loads of protein and no fat. Eggs and chicken are other good sources. Weetabix and porridge are cheap and good sources of carbs.
Theres plenty of 'cheaper' food you can get that'll still allow you to bulk.

Mate its fairy cheap to get the food you need. I was out of work for 6months and had a mortgage ect to pay and still got by. Tins of tuna ect are very cheap and last for ages in the cupboard. Going to local vegetable and fruit shops is alot cheaper than the supermarket and the local butchers always has deals on steaks ect. I get steak pieces for cheap and make stew, also love chicken stir frys. Its easier and cheaper than you think. As said porridge is good and is a favourite of mine for breakfast and supper. Also take a multivitamin and cod liver oil too.

Agree with all the above mate. leave the gear for a couple of years (prob dont need it) you will get to the weight you want without it and started at the same weight as you know im 13.2 st im also 5'8.
depends what look you want but between 12-13 st you will look stocky and look as though you workout. took me about 18 months to look pretty good but im now 31 and been training since 15 got upto 14'6 once but had no neck lol so dropped into 13st braket and happy at this weight.
