Default gym advice - cardio and weights!

right at the moment i have a combination of cardio equipment and barbell and dymbell sets.

what i want to ask is- can i do cardio and weights at the same time? or will the cardio just burn off the muscle i work out with the weights.

also how many reps should i do on each arm? reps of 10 then rest and repeat this about 4 times over?

Have a look about on here, I posted up a good routine, although it might be a bit tough if your just a beginner. I always prefer to keep my cardio and weights seperate. Do a 5minute run before your weights maybe to warm up thats it. Unless your just trying to tone up, I know of a few lads when it comes to cutting they do 15 reps of eg. bicep curls then a two minute run then another set of curls, then another two minute run. Depends what your looking for.

depends really on your exact goal if you just want muscle mass then low reps 6-8 with heavey weight, i too prefer to keep the cv seperate, like mackers said always have a decent warmup before you hit the weights and good streches when yr finished - hope this helps abit

as above it depends on what u wanna do, i do cardio in the morning before work on a stepper for about 30 mins before breakfast and then do weights after work, and as you said i dont do them together because i burns the muscles you have worked

so lomg as you don't do cardio for more than about half an hour you won't burn any muscle
