I'm looking for a half decent road bike to start getting fit on, I used to ride alot as a kid and have a very active job and not really one for going out running on the street.

Any ideas on which one to get?

I'm up for spending up to £500 on one

You'd be best off searching through the likes of Wiggle / CRC and Evans matey, and seeing what deals they have on.. - what height are you as thats obviously going to detrmine what size frame you want.
Also, try to look for some any of last years models, - will be cheaper, so you'll get a better spec for your cash!
