How weird is this, or not weird to the educated..
Woke up this morning, had a bath, weighed myself (1st time in ages). I weigh in at 98kg - result (6ft 2 large build) that means I'm actually under what I need to get in the Army.
So I trundle off to work and get home for lunch, around 12:30pm today.
Now I weigh in at 16st 5lb wtf?
Why do I weigh more now? I know its because of water retention etc.
So should I work on the weight I am right now or work on the weight I am in the morning?
Cheers.

No mistake.
I weighed myself again last night, I was 16st 4lb
This morning, smack bang on 16st.
Tried 2 sets of scales, both read the same in both cases.
Clothes don't weigh 5lb do they?

no they dont so something is wrong somewhere, your weight cannot fluctuate that much (usual clothes presumed)
obvious answer - depends how the army weigh you if thats what you are working towards!

im exactly the same mate, at night before sleep im about 97 kg and in the morning as i wake up im about 95 kg, this is because when you are sleep your system is gettin dehydrated and losin some water. this is the answer that i got from the people in the know.

Exactly what mother said.
When you sleep you dehydrate and when you wake (I don't have anything BTW) you weigh less. After a drink and some normal body activities your body retains the water incase you get dehydrated again.
Oh well..
Well 2 months ago they weighed me in at 17.5 stone and I weighed myself a day or so before at 18st. Although every set of scales i've been on reads different.
So I'm working on my own scales. If I can get to 15.5 Stone thats bob on in my book.

Your not telling me you sweat 2 litres in a night?
Dehydration in perspiration are different things.

only if you seriously dehydrate yourself could you lose so much weight in such a short space of time
try this
weigh yourself before going to the gym, hammer cardio in the gym, spend 30 mins in a 95degree sauna, drink no fluids during or after, then go home weigh yourself (same clothes/no clothes as when weighed before gym)
doing that i saw 3lb loss, which duly returned once rehydrated
you must be a lucky man to be getting enough exercise in a night to see almost double that!!!!
badboy rs
if youre into ufc you must have seen fighters cutting weight for a fight
rashad evans cut something crazy like 24lbs (under medical supervision) and he didnt do it by sleeping LOL
