stick to as heavy a weight as you can do for 8 reps, thats how you get good solif growth. And try going 3 months without measuring. it really helps. i found measuring often i got hung up if i was growing or not. keep your calories up and training hard. smash your plateaus and drive on.

I do try to do that Martin, my current bicep work is as follows:
Alternating Dumbbell Curls (stood)
16kg x10 1sets
20kg x6 1set
22kg x3 1set
Bicep curls (Concentration)
20kg x8 1set
22kg x6 1set
24kg x3 1set
Straight Bar Bicep Curls
32kg x10 1set
42kg x6 1set
Sound Ok? Or are you suggesting drop the slightly heavier ones i can only do for 3reps and do a slightly lighter one and end on 8?

that would be my advise stu. Just keep the reps to 6-8 and drop the 3 rep sets. Perhaps then when your in a really strong mood do a good solid set of 5-6 at a heavier weight.
Id can the dumbell curls, i dont find them as beneficial. I do straight bar curls, EZ bar curls and some cable arnie curls.

basically you stand in a bent over back row position, knees slightly bent, bum stuck out. oo err. grab the bar and curl it from arms completely locked out and then up to your chin. no resistance on your arms at all, no back swing ect.

mine are 14" but thatsd with about 14%bf at the most....
i used to have 16" and 15" forearms but ive not been trainningin a good while and only started back about 2 weels or so ago so hopefully get them back well i can only try lol
