Yes, ideally aim for 1gm per 1lb of bodyweight.
Example: At 224lb i aim for 200+grams of Protein per day. |

if you want to gain lean muscle you need over 250g protein in my opinion, and then that increases depending on your direction o goals within your workouts
i try and shove 300g of protein down my neck and maybee 350-400 on training days. its also good to have one day of pure protein intake a month, to kick start your body into shape, but dont do it much more as it will have a negative effect on muscle growth let me know how you get on mate! remember if it doesnt hurt, make u sweat and thik i cant lift this, then your not doing it rigth! lol |

I take on about 300g of protien a day, and just under 100g of carbs.
Trying to cut as i have "some" extra weight i need shifting.... I do lower it a little on weekends, but i train 4 to 5 days a week so mainly on chicken, eggs and shakes....

if u feel the need for something stakey, try a big fat tuna steak. george grill or a barbie is the way to go. its a steak, and its got the protien. its got to be awinner.
