Anyone run?
I've got back into it lately, parents bought a shithot running machine so thought i'd just aswell abuse it! lol
Started off running the mile in a pretty pathetic 11m 43secs!
I've only really been running on and off for about a month when I get a spare tens mins but yesterday I got my mile time down to 7m 02secs!
Not bad for only messing at it! Will be in the 6m ** next week no problem!
Whats your mile times? Give me something to aim for!

Used to do a lot of running at school, cross country, long distance etc etc but that was a loooong time ago then got older gave up on exercise started smoking etc etc. Have given up the smoking and back down the gym again & usually start or finish off with a run, quickest I've done so far was a 5k run (the machines don't do it in Miles ) & that was about 22 1/2 minutes which wasn't too bad I thought

You may simply be doing to much too soon, gotta watch out for shin splits when getting pain in the front of your legs. Sometimes stretching out after excercise will eleviate some of the muscle pain, you could try that and see how it goes.
Personally i'm not fond of the running machines at all but they do offer less impact than pouding the roads. If you get sick of it try running on grass and/or tracks,to me this is more fun and passes the time quicker also.

I always have a slight incline on the running machine too, tend to find that it doesn't jar my joints so much then!
Gonna go for another run tomoz aswell, been kick-boxing loads lately and not had time! lol
