shoulder injury need advice
injured my shoulder over a month ago, at the time it clicked out, didn't feel 2 bad but stopped training all the same. had a kip when got home before work and when i got up i couldn't move it! a day or two later it seemed to click again and i had movement back so decided not to go the docs & just rest. went the docs bout a week ago & refered me to a physio cause still strugglin & can't train chest or shoulders... they told me that the tendon/ligaments have been weakened and as a result theres a lotta play. only gave me one exercise to do to strenghten them, just wanderin if anyone has had similar problems & has any suggestions. cheers

i ripped a 4cm hole in one of the bursas in my shoulder
took me about 6 months recovery. had MRI and x ray guided steroid injections to strengthen it, its still not right but its a damn sight better
how exactly did you injure it?
the physio, if hes any good will see the problem if its serious, and then hopefully refer you to a specialist or via your GP. i saw the essex cricket physio as he is the top shoulder bod round here.

4 cm hole that sounds fuckin painfull! i was doin bench & it just seemed to click out. he said that the reason i couldn't move the shoulder for a few days is that the burstis or whateva it is was swollen & inflamed & wouldn't let the join move back in2 position. apparently the clicking is either tendon or ligament not moving properly through the groove. he said it was difficult to determine where the problem was and gave me 1 exercise & another appointment in 2 weeks

definately steer clear of any weights for a while. The shoulders are delicate at the best of times and if you don't let it heal it will plague you forever Be patient and give it time, follow the physio's advice.

I have a grade 3 separation of my A/C joint - did it in a mountain bike crash.
It needs an operation to put it right, there's a chance that the op will leave me with restricted movement in the joint, plus it's a 4 month recovery
Take the doc's advice seriously - you don't want to end up like me! lol
One shoulder is normal, and on the other, my collarbone pokes out on the top of the joint as there is nothing holding it into my shoulder blade anymore
Neil.
