Default pyramids

hey guys just wondered what you lot think is the best way to do pyramids for all upper body areas cheers

I personally don't pyramid. I work up to my maximum weight and then do one all out set including either drop sets(similar to pyramiding but more intense) or forced reps.

Standard pyramiding would involve choosing weights that enable you to do the following reps

12, 10, 8, 6, 8, 10, 12

or

12, 10, 8, 6, 10, 15

But you end up doing 6 odd sets per exercise. This is too much IMO.
