Get a pair from somewhere like a scrap yard. You will need the relay in the engine bay fusebox (brown relay if I remember correctly), the switch and that is about all.
Most MK5 Fiesta models already had the loom in place. To find out if yours does, remove the blank from the dash where the switch would go. If the plug is clipped to the back, you have the rest, if not, then you will need to do some wiring.
The foglight plugs themselves are simply taped into the loom roughly where the lights go.
You will need to either cut the bumper (a lot more gets cut then you originally think) or a replacment bumper.
This was mine after they were fitted (car is an LX with extra packs)
If you take your time and cut using a dremel, you can make them look factory very easily. The screw hole that the fog lamp screws to and the locating lugs for the bottom are all on the non-fog lamp bumpers, so you gently cut a bit at a time until they line up.

Hi, I thought i would reply on this thread instead of starting a new one.. but here goes..
I've got the 2000 1.25 LX 5dr and am looking to fit the fog lights too...
I checked all the wiring and its all in place and good working condition what i guess is a good thing! Brought the new relay (it is a brown one) and the switch today for just over Ł5 and I'm gona look for a set of lights tomorrow at my local breakers...
because I'm tight i think I'm just going to cut the existing bumper to get them in so I was just wondering if anyone has any more tips/advice on doing it...
If anyone cared to give any pointers/tips it would be great.
Thanks
Liam

Where abouts is the fog light plug on a mk5 fiesta 1.3
I have the plug on the dash and brought the switch so it lights up but where is the plug in the engine bay to plug my fog lights in?
