Worried i've bought a dud
hi guys
i bought my ST just under 6 months ago and am beginning to worry it has had some serious damage to it
when purchased it had the side stripes which i removed to find that the o/s back and front and rear drivers side panels had had a respray as removing the stripes left indents in the paint (but not on the drivers door)
i presumed from this it has had some minor damage and then a cheap respray (spraying over the stripes -.-)
however i recently decided to give it a deep clean so removed the back seats and as much carpet as i could without having to take off the plastics and i found this:
All this sealant looks like it's covering something and surely wouldnt be anywhere near this messy if put there form factory
Am i right to be worried? anyone got any idea of why its like this?!
Thanks for any help guys

Yeah i noticed that in the first pic bottom right of the blue bit looks creased like its had a rear quarter crash, this would also tie in with paint but not on the door!
ETA You mention O/S has had paint but it looks like the N/S is the side with the crease, remove the rear quarter trim and have a nose behind, both sides.
