Help with k jetronic fuel distributor/or injectors
Wondering if anyone can help?!
Need some advice or a point in the right direction to someone who can give me advice (preferably local to the northwest).
Been having a startup and running problem on my 89 MFI XR3i since I bought it (hence the price I paid), the car struggles to startup up and when it does it idles up and down and definitely is lacking in power. Basically the short story is I've gone through all the obvious parts that could cause the problem and I am left with either the injectors or the k jetronic fuel distribution unit being the culprit.
Before I go spending any money on a new set of injectors or even more money on a refurbed distribution unit I need to be absolute certain on the cause, as most people to give me advice or look at the car have had an educated guess!
Can anyone give me some pointers on refurbing the unit myself? Or know a local specialist who can?!

It's been a long time since I looked at the K-Jet system but if you are unfamiliar with the system you may find the simplified guide on my website of use.

Scroll to the bottom of the page (the pics aren't working on the front page for some reason) and click on the link.
