Hi I'm new on here so would like to say hi and it's a very good and informative forum site, I've just acquired a s - regarding ford escort 3dr because I really want to build my own cossie styled wrc spec car without a role cage in, I've wanted the mk6 - shape because off the bonnet and wrc kit but now I've bought the car to build up on and I can't find wrc bodykits for my shape anywhere and I was wondering if all the Ford knowledge out there would be able to point me in the right place please. It's a s-reg sorry my predictive spelling on my phone writing before I've even finished lol, in theory I need wrc front bumper, wings and rear arches and a mondeo ST bumper and the wrc spoilers, I've had my car for a few days and I've searched the net for the pieces I need but I can only find mk5's bodykit and none for the mk6-7 and the wrc bumper I can find looks totally rubbish,snide in fact and I want the best bodykit so it looks good and not a wanna be if you get what I mean. welcome to passionford, there are many kits around but most were for the mk5 as you have found as the mk6 was pretty much rs2000 bodykitted as a rule

haha bit extreme but anything is possible with the know how as I have seen mk5 kits modified and grafted onto a mk6 but really depends on your fabrication skills

Will mk5 rear arches fit to my escort and wrc front wings aswell?, i'm not any good at modifying ie welding I think if it can be done I'll find a professional to do that haha and thanks for the advice aswell I appreciate it.

yes it can and has been done before including retro fitting mk5 escos flared panels

Thanks a lot I really appreciate your knowledge, I've found a standard cosworth engine that I'm planning to put in to the car aswell an make her in to a 4x4, I've been told because it's the Rs2000 body shape the engine and 4x4 transfer box will all fit without having to cut all the shell up for the gearbox.
