Default Mk5 dash into mk6

Was wondering if it's possible too put a mk5 dash into a mk6?

Would bolt in without an issue, but the wiring for the dials and things is all different, which makes it a bit of a ball ache!

I'm currently doing this. You have to re wire all the switches and dials etc as the Mk5 plugs are all different.
