Rs2000 4wd x type transfer box
Hey everyone! First time on here, but i have done some serching and there seems to be some differing appinions regarding the suitablity of the transfer box to handle power!!
I noticed somewhere on here that the x type jag uses a similar transfer box that also has a 40/60 front/rear split. The 3.0 v6 awd has 230ish bhp and even more torque!!? SO does anyone know if this unit will bolt right up without fabrication and other general f**king about??
Cheers all Nog

Hi
I doubt very much it would bolt straight up! The Mondeo 4x4 tf box is almost idetical and it wont fit.
The TF box is indeed the acillies heel of the RS2k 4x4, and due to the low numbers made not a lot is known about its capabilities.
