Mk1 XR2, silver. Track car maybe? £750
Picked this up today. Maybe a trackday weapon for someone?
Mk1 XR2 Y plate. 9 Months MOT and about a months tax. 130k miles. Original interior in good condition, light grey seats with red&black pinstripe. Has the optional "climate pack" which is centre vents and opening front quarters (very rare!). Koni's all round, it handles like its on rails!.
Bodys got a few scabs but its not bad at all (and its 22 years old!). Solid underneath.
Now the best bits!. The engine has been rebuilt about 2 years ago. Its a 1640cc engine with unleaded head fitted, K&N, strutt brace and i think theres some sort of cam aswell fitted. Also has bigger carb fitted (setup to suit but unsure which one), basically a nippy car lol. Also had new clutch fitted at same time of engine. Its the quietest OHV engine ive ever heard!

What condition are the inner wings in?
Also in behind the rear qaurters in between the doors and the front of the rear arches. You know the bits i mean
What sort of welding has been done and where. If you have any pics can you stick them through in an e-mail or PM

Boot floor welded and outer sills. Also inner wings. Its 22 years old boys but its got MOT so it solid enough!
