Focus rs no.3937
Focus Rs number 3937
I purchased this focus rs in May last year after selling my escort cosworth. When I got it the car had just turned 72k. The car has performed faultlessly since I have owned it and has had 2 services (May last year, march this year) It has now covered 78k miles and has service history up to 43k (2009). The car is in very good condition but has the usual stone chips to the front and a little scab of rust bubbling on the corner of the boot handle and on the drivers side rear arch. When I got the car checked out at a local tuner to make sure it was running properly the operator of the rolling road managed to knock a tripod over and it hit the drivers door and has scratched it. The owner of the business said he would get it repaired for me but so far has failed to sort it out. Other than that the body work is very clean with no dents or scratches on the other panels. The interior is mint with no tears or rips to the alcantara. Only modification being a heater vent mounted boost gauge (not fitted in pics). It has had a black carpet fitted at some point and has matching ford racing floor mats. The brakes were overhauled just before I bought it and had new discs and pads fitted by the previous owner.
The engine is very quiet and has never used a drop of oil. It has been modified and is running a john frs hybrid turbo, forge actuator, primary designs tubular manifold, decat and full system, AE base map with tuna hybrid turbo map, Roose boost hoses. The suspension is standard shock absorbers with H+R 25mm springs which gives a nice stance but still a comfortable ride.
I've just had 2 new Bridgestone potenza's fitted on the front, the rears are Yokohama but will need replacing soon as they are getting low. The alloys are all straight but the paint work is not great, I think they have been refurbished by a previous owner or done poorly by a professional.
As you probably know these cars are appreciating at a good rate and are a good investment. I've priced the car at £9000 due to it needing the bits of paint sorting.
The cheapest one I can find for sale is £9000 but it has around 115k miles on it, cars with similar mileage to mine are over 10k
The car is only for sale as I will be doing a lot of miles traveling the uk with my hobbies this year and I will need a more economical car, also I don't fancy leaving the rs in a car park all weekend when away from home. I may take a p/ex on a escort/fiesta rs turbo as my plan was to sell the focus and buy a runabout and a weekend toy to use during the summer
Since these pics I've refitted the standard indicators and rear wiper, also I had the grill carbon wrapped. I will get some pics of the bits if paint what need attention this weekend.
Anyone requiring more information please pm me and I'll send you my phone number
Thanks Billy

Cheers bud it is a lovely car but unfortunately it's just not practical for what I need now. Since I sold my saff a couple year ago I've managed to buy most of the rs's I've always wanted. I've still not had a fiesta rst so that could be my summer toy for this year I've also owned white, black and red escort rst's so if I don't get a fiesta rst I may have to complete the escort set and get myself a Mercury grey one lol
