Mondeo ST200
Hi Guys,
I've just joined as i thought this would be one of the better new homes for my car.
So up for sale is my x reg Mondeo st200 which has only had *three (correction after checking V5, seems a chap owned it for a short period from new before going to the gent who had it for 13 years) previous owners prior to me and currently has 32,000 on the clock!
Before i bought this one i had seen a few others which, as most people know, typically have rotten / rusted arches, high mileage and less than complete history. This one however was / is immaculate and must be THE best st200 available for sale at the moment. The low mileage is a result of the first owner who had it for 13 years and barely used it (the mileage between service intervals backs this up) and garaged it all its life which is why the body work is in such good shape.
The chap who i bought it off about 14 months ago was actually the owner of the garage where it had been serviced for 13 consecutive years so he also didn't really use it that much other than taking it to a few ford shows. Since i've had it i've used it as a daily driver with no issues what so ever and have given it a minor service (oil and air filter) and changed all the tyres (less than 2500 miles ago) to Kumho ecsta le sports.
The reason for sale is that i've just come into some money and have bought a newer car so this is currently using my only driveway space.
It's a lovely car to drive, does have a nice bit of pull when you put your foot down and of course, that v6 makes a very addictive sound.
The MOT is due on the 18th of August and there were a couple of minor advisories which my very reliable mechanic i always used has said would not cost more than £150.00 to sort.
In terms of what i'd like for it looking, around at the ones up for sale there are none anywhere near this condition with such good history and low miles so i think £1850.00 OVNO is fair (there is in fact one on ebay at present in reasonable condition but with 100k for £1500.00).
I'm fairly sure that if this was kept with lowish miles on it and in a similarly good condition, it will be worth much more than that to the right buyer in the future so feel this is a excellent price.
If there are any interested parties i'm happy to pm my mobile number to discuss anything further and hope everyone has an enjoyable new year.
Cheers
