the bloke doesn't have to accept his 3k offer, its not as if he's forcing him to sell it!!

This is it if matey is to laid back to check prices then he is happy with the 3k

What's worse, getting a deal as a buyer or charging over the odds for scrap as a seller...

Jealousy has nothing to do with it, I already own a superb Sapphire and I am not after another one. Taking advantage of someone who obviously has no idea what a good condition Sapphire Cosworth is worth is what bothers me. Everyone likes a good deal but you know it would be worth a lot more than £3k so as I said I hope he realises its value when he comes to sell it.

The thing is though that is all subjective/personal opinion, I wouldn't value it at much more than £3k, so you're not taking advantage of the seller. To sell something like that I'd let it go for about £3k, you value it at £5k, at the end of the day it's £2k difference, and we're on the Internet debating the cost of a rusty sierra with a knackered engine.....

No disrespect but there is no way you could rebuild the engine and sort out the rust and paintwork for just £1500.It would take a lot more than that.

So did I, 2.5k exactly although with that said mine was word of mouth and in bits.
Some people on here live in the clouds, 1.5k haha yeah ok.
Wise words to the seller, don't advertise on here for most of the above reasons, car like that on eBay 3-5k depending on condition and issues, on here £50ono
