Mk1 Focus RS - sold
The time has come to part with my Focus RS
I've only had it for just under a year but it has been one of the best cars I have owned and it never fails to put a smile on my mush but I now can't justify having something like this as well as my saph cossie that I really want to finish ASAP. Need something a little better on fuel as well as I'm now doing quite a few more miles.
It's currently got just under 95k miles but really drives like it has quite a bit less and has pretty much a full history.
I fitted a new chargecooler pump and some Roose black silicone heater matrix hoses on it earlier this year and it has been really reliable. It developed a little misfire on boost a few weeks ago but I put a new coil pack, new genuine Ford plugs and some Bosch HT leads on and it drives lovely again.
It has a slight leak from the thermostat housing but I have a brand new genuine Ford one to fit and I will also be giving it a service in the next couple of weeks as its due one now.
Everything works on it as it should and the air con is nice and icy cold (not that you want it cold this time of year but I thought I'd mention it! ).
It's not got a lot on it in the way of mods, exhaust, sports cat, Bluefin, K&N induction kit and a front splitter. Also got an ST170 space saver spare wheel in it too as I hate not having a spare.
It's not the fastest one in the world but it's certainly enough to have some fun in it!
It's got the usual age related things like stone chips on it but it's a pretty straight little car. I had the front and rear bumpers painted and both sides painted earlier this year as it had a couple of little bubbles on the arches so wanted to nip that in the bud before it got any worse but I told the painter to do both sides as I didn't want any colour match issues. The front splitter could do with a repair as I accidentally caught it on a kerb but shouldn't be too bad to sort by a decent bodyshop.
The drivers seat bolsters are a little bit worn so would need repairing to make mint and the steering wheel needs a retrim but other than that, it's very nice inside. Still got the original 6006 6 disc in dash stereo that works perfectly.
Mot is due in February but I'll put a new mot on it for the buyer.
Some pics:
Private plate not included in the sale.
Please no stupid offers as I'm not in a mad rush to sell and if I'm totally honest, won't be sad if it doesn't

Just to add, I can't seem to find the service history log book but have all the invoices and receipts from all the services and repairs and stuff to prove its all been maintained and looked after etc.
Just trying to be honest about it, it has always been a looked after car.
