Default Big turbo escort cosworth 86k mallard black leather engine noise £12000

HI all, Don`t really know where to start, I am not interested if you think this is over priced or have any other silly comments, I have had a run of bad luck and this has really made my day !!!
Here we have my very clean Escort Cosworth done 86k in mallard green full black leather, 12 months mot taxed till end of july, service history old mots.
Running greens
3 bar map sensor
Grp a filter
Alloy header tank
Strut brace
Full blue silicone hoses
swirl pot
poly bushes
Mongoose exhaust
18"Rondells
Private plate valued at £700
I have had this car 3 months, shortly after I bought it the head gasket was showing signs of going, so its had the head completely reconditioned, group A head gasket, cam belt, top end gasket set. Then the 3 bar map sensor was messing about so I bought a genuine Magrelli 3 bar from Jullian Godfrey for £195.
Was all running fine then I noticed a puff of blue smoke, that was the turbo, so its had a recon turbo put on it last week!
I have just had it mot`d , had 2 new track rod ends and rear brake pipes.
Then today while diving I have noticed a noise from the engine, not sure what it is about 3 -4000 rpm, no smoke good oil pressure, quiet from cold.
I have really had enough cant justify spending anymore time and money on it, could be a simple fix but I really don't know.
The body work is very nice no rust around any of the wheel arches or fuel cap, sills are very clean, all original panels, never been welded.
Got little blisters on tailgate spoiler, and a little dent and blister on corner of bonnet, size of 5p coin, some stone chips to bumper , and slight laquer peel on roof due to age of car.
Interior is full black leather and in excellent condition, headlining is like new, as I also had that retrimmed ,even more expense!
Any enquires please call Ryan on 07786384861 Please no silly offers I have had enough bad luck! Thank you

i don't mean to rub salt into your wounds mate but it sounds like you need to shut the garage door for a month and then go back to it

if not can i ask if you would you sell the wheels off the car ?

Actually made me laugh mate, ive also got a sapphire, so can`t cope with 2 at the moment, would like to keep the wheels on it but will see how it goes, but will consider sensible offers! but it owes me loads more than advertised.

Looks a clean car. Shame you have had bad luck with it matey. When they are going fine they bring you satisfaction. When they are going wrong they can break your heart.

So the noise is coming from the engine when the car is stationery.

Hi mate, its strange, fine when started from cold quiet as a mouse, but once its been running for 5 minutes, you hold it at 4000 rpm and flick the throttle it sounds harsh, not a rattle, quiet at low revs, or when you drive it you can hear it if you hold it just off boost.
Thanks for the reply they do cause you stress!!

I had it booked in Tuesday to get this done but that's out the window!
I havn`t polished or attempted to touch this, as certain polishes could affect it when its painted!

You just changed a turbo my money would be on exhaust rubbing or resonance as suggested about I had a similar problem and it was rubbing on the heat shield that was metal sounded bad,

If it is any help there are a few of us also in East Sussex that could come and have a look for you.
Could be simple, but worth a look to help you out.
Could mean your luck changes and you can keep the car.
Strange not seen it around
