I had bought this car as a long term keeper but I am looking to buy an r35 shortly so freeing up some space and cash for it.

the car has been off the road for I guess a couple of years, and in my own storage for 18 months.

its a v reg 1978 240k gt 2.4 straight 6 motor

oil pressure is good.


70000 miles 2 previous owners

chassis is solid, and body is very tidy with some very minor surface rust well below what youd expect for a 36 year old car.

it had a restoration by previous owner in 2007 ish.

I have fitted black slotmag wheels that look similar to the old stock c10 wheels imo, also arch fenders, front chin spoiler and rear boot spoiler all expensive and special orders from japan.

rear arches were extensively modified cut back and welded up to mate upto the fenders that were added.

rear lights are custom led lights in custom mounts.

also has boss with aftermarket steering wheel

r32 gtr veilside back box custom fitted, any inspection welcome i have a ramp that can be used, the underside is mint imo for its age.

i havnt had the car on the road myself, it was taxed and moted when i bought it, i drove it home the 100 mile journey no problems, since doing the body work it has been in storage ever since.

the bodywork, underneath and engine bay imo are in amazing condition for its age and everyone whos seen it in the flesh has agreed.

price is a firm £6000

the car is provisionally sold the buyer will be here in 1.5 hours, if I cant get £5500 then I will keep it and put the sheet back on it.

Keep it if you don't get they money you want, these are very sought after and super cool, if people are chomping at the bit and calling from aus, I'd stick to 6k, it's not as if it's ever going to be a hard sell, personally over 6k in your pocket I would keep,(I don't men to sound rude but if your buying an r35 then your not exactly skint) it's as good as cash sat with a cover should you decide to sell later.

As said stick to 6k, someone will pay it. if I had the cash it would be snapped up at 6k, would even go to 7/8 if it was in excellent condition so 6k would say is a good price. Would prefer to go mental on this then get an R35, think how good this would be with 20k thrown at it.

Hi and hello everyone, I know this is a long shot. I live in the UK and am restoring a Datsun 240 K Skyline (model C210). We are looking for new or used parts for this model. A couple of years ago my son whilst traveling around Australia said because of your climate he use to see many cars similar to this still on the roads.
