R1 Mini
Testing the water on this as im wanting to start a fresh.
This mini has had a 5 page feature in Mini world Magazine and is said to be 1 of 2 front engined RWD Mini's in the UK
R1 Classic Mini
J42 WRX
1994-95 shell with private plate.
2001 5jj (150bhp) R1 engine with 14,000 miles on it.
Prop driven with sierra rear end and custom 100mm shafts.
Converted rear beam with fully adjustable rose jointed rear arms.
Speedo healer installed.
Bazzaz qs4 flatshift kit.
5JJ R1 Dash unit.
Custom straight through exhaust with race can on the rear.
Gaz fully adjustable coilovers on the front.
Spax fully adjustables on the rear.
8.4" AP calipers up front with grooved and dimpled discs and green stuff pads.
XR4i rear drums.
Braided lines front and rear.
fibreglass dash.
Safety devices full bolt in cage with fireproof padding up front.
fire extinguisher.
Belt cutter/glass breaker fitted
Corbeau forza fixed bucket seats on mini runners (drivers seat behind chassis rail for leg room)
4 point harnesses with willans pads fixed correctly with eye bolts.
Alcantara headliner and parcel shelf
Momo suede steering wheel with locking quick release boss
Steering pinion extended and lowered to suit driving position.
Halogen headlights
Black window seals.
ABS Motorsport light weight race grill in carbon (no longer in production).
race fuel cell in boot.
Trs tow strap.
Freshly fitted Mexico arches and front lip.
13x7 alleycats.
Yokohama Advan A048 road legal semi slicks.
Probably a few things I've missed but that's all I can think off of the top of my head.
Tax and tested and fully functional. £9k ono
Will also do a deal on a Mk2 Escort or a Cossie.

That looks like an awesome little tool. Had a 1275gt back in the day and loved it. Everyone has got to drive an original mini at least once (not that bmw scrap) to appreciate them

Deal! Haha! Yeah mate you should, they are the easiest cars in the world to work on and parts are cheap as chips. It's finding a solid one for cheap enough that's the hard bit. This one had a complete front end fitted before it was built and my other one needs sills and every rear panel repaired. You will get one with tax and test from around £1200 but expect it to need a bit work

Yea that's to be expected. Doesn't bother me to much as i work at a body shop anyway. its definitely on my list tho!
