1988 escort rsturbo 85% complete project
i first purchased my escort as a project here it is the day i got it
i found out parts of the floor, both front wings, both rear arches, inner and outer sills both sides and rear chassis rails were rotten and it was just a really poorly modified and tatty car with a hole saw taken to everything it could be

i then performed a full service put a cts gearbox in with a quaife atb lsd in with a helix 4 paddle clutch and fresh oil the engine got a few gaskets and a service a stage 2 4x4 cossie t3 with a great condition manifold new spark plugs and leads and i put a airbox back on with a new k and n air filter i also put a new brake master cylinder on as the old on looked well old lol it already and a de limited ecu on it and the metering unit has ben set heres more pictures

right i think those pictures should suffice. the car as it sits needs both rear 4x4 cossie calipers and hoses and a brake bia valve fitting which i have, drivers side rear quarter needs to be re painted as it had a bad reaction, it needs two new tires a small bit of fuel line from the tank to the the fuel pipe that runs to the front of the car both the bonnet and the hatch are tatty and needs new ones really and it needs the supplied 90s spec interior in very good condition to be fitted.
those are the bad points the good bits are
i have full history inc mots and alot of recipts i am the 5th owner of this car!

a 4x4 cossie stage 2 t3,
huge airtec intercooler,
baileys dump valve,
samco hoses ,
standard air box with k and n filter
cts gearbox with atb quaife lsd
helix 4 paddle clutch
2wd 4 pot front calipers with ebc drilled and groved discs
4wd rear disc conversion minus the calipers
a completely rust free shell
i also have a stage 3 ported and flowed head thats not fitted and a engine with wossner forged pistons in great working order
and a spare t3 turbo which was working fine when it came off the car
and i have another cts gearbox which is wineing
i would like £2500 for the car and all the spares it will need trailered but can be delivered at buyers cost
if car does not sell in a month i will be braking it

also a standard efi head ans standard cam will be included and the reason for sale is i got a really nice 4x4 saph cossie and cant afford to finish this project im properly gutted to sell it

anyway after all the effort why brake it?
id be interested in the bonnet if its in really good condition, no rust, scratches etc?
the rear wishbones?
are the springs standard mm or dropped?
did you replace the fuel tank?
is the fuel pump cradle any good?
is that a scorpion or mongoose exhaust and what size 3" or 4"
pm me with the above details if you wanna break parts

Yeh shell has had all the rot cut out and is solid at a small fortune lol ! So if someone is after a project this is a very solid base to go with and some very good parts to build a great rst as the engine in the car is standard but a spare bottom half with forged pistons and head turbo chip to match good power

i would be keeping it but i just cant afford the insurance and running of the rsturbo and cossie im 23 with a minimum wage job lol
hopefully when its complete with mot and tax n stuff someone will buy it
or swap eaither way its got to go i really dont want to break it would be such a waste
