MK1 Escort Cosworth

Car was purchased off cossytonyt as an on going project which him and Melspec done a lot of work to this outstanding example.
The car is based on a 1300E chassis but had had many hours of fabrication work done, including weld in roll cage, ladder bar system incorporating a Mustang rear axel with a 9" locker diff, the rear has been turreted to allow the use of coilovers. The front suspension is all Group 4 with compression struts and adjustable top mounts, with 4 pot calipers on the front and Cosworth rear calipers.
The shell had had a full bare metal respray and has proper steel arch's fitted.
The engine is a Cosworth 200 block running a Group A headgasket, T34 turbo with Green's, 3 bar map sensor with overbraided Engine loom, cooling is taken car of by new Rally Design alloy radiator and intercooler and slimline fan all mated to a Cosworth T5 gearbox.
Nearly all the parts used on this car are new or blasted and powder coated, with new drop glass and all new window rubbers, all the pipework is Aeroquip with Goodridge fitting's including fuel and brake lines.
The thing's needed to finish this car are a propshaft, car wiring loom (engine loom is done) and a exhaust fabricating thats it.
