Up for sale is my M reg RS1800 commonly known as 'the MANJ'
Really do not want to have to sell it but due to circumstances I need to free up some cash and selling up the Fiesta is the easiest way.
Now to the car itself....
It's a well known car having being featured in Fast Ford magazine and being the first to have a FULL ST170 conversion, including gearbox and dials.
SPEC.
Engine-
- 2004 ST 170 engine on 40,500 miles
- 4-2-1 Manifold (heat wrapped)
- Scorpion RST exhaust system with sport cat (LOUD!)
- K+N filter
- Bluefin Remap
Running gear-
- 6 Speed ST170 gearbox
- MO 16" 5 spokes et. 33
- AVO coilovers
- Narrowed rear beam with added camber
Brakes-
- Wilwood calipers up front
- Focus RS rear brakes
- Rear mounted Servo due to gearbox
Bodywork-
- Fiesta RST bonnet
- Fiesta RST rear spoiler
- Bump strips removed
- Full underside respray
- Pop out rear windows
Interior-
- Fiesta RST full interior
- ST170 clocks
- Flocked dash
- ST 170 gearknob
- Momo Race steering wheel
- Alpine stereo with iPod connection
Probably plenty more I've forgotten.
Known Issues
- slight bubble of rust on the roof
- some paintwork not the best but still VERY presentable
- brakes take some getting used to but once you are you don't notice
That's it!
Mot until August next year and taxed.
Asking for £3500. Open to offers and px but will want at least a grand my way!

Yep, all the Focus stuff on it. With the 6 speed, if anyone wanted to up the power, there is no big hassle with blowing up boxes

IIRC, Jimmy who built is is 9 Engineer Regiment (Para) so it should have been built properly. I very nearly bought this car a few years back but the deal fell through.

Sorry not the best quality pics as they're off of my phone but shows the seats are in very good condition and the flocked dash.

Not got any since the paintwork, had the sides done to get rid of what looked like had been hand painted front wings and some reaction on the rear quarters. The paint is a lot better now but could possibly do with a cut to get 100% IMO. The paint is a lot better than when these photos were taken though. Unfortunately going away for the weekend now but should be able to get some pics Sunday afternoon/ Monday morning of it's current condition.

Brakes lack initial bite, put firm pressure on and you're ok. Does take getting used to but you learn how to use them. Saying that they DO need sorting, main thing that lets the car down really.

my baby! if i had the money id but it back ! awesome car and definately worth the money .
some more pics for you
the brakes take some getting used to as it runs a bias box,in my opinion a pair of better master cylinders would make it alot better as i changed everything else...a great car!

the actual engine conversion might still be on ft.com if you search jimmyesh,i owned the car for around 3 years up until the begining of this year.it was fairly standard to look at (engine bay) when i got so i put my own touch on it.the underside was stripped down, and any rust was sorted and then gravel chipped and painted.the exhaust was fabricated from a rs1800/frst scorpion system including a FIA aproved 100 cell race cat. ive owned many fiestas but never had one that went round corners like this one! (due to the built in negative camber in the rear beam). and as ive said if i had the cash id buy it back! great fun on the road/track.
just to add the flat spoke comp mo's are 7.5 x 16's and took me forever to find a set!
it has a bailey header tank and all the focus running gear is as the clocks say on 40k as it all came from the same car (20 odd k when converted )
