MK4 Zetec Turbo 55,000 miles! 1 yr MOT!
This is my recently completed Escort Zetec Turbo project. I'm looking to swap/PX for a roadworthy 3 door/Sapphire Cosworth Replica.
It started life as a clean, 55,000 mile Black XR3i to which the previous owner had fitted an RS turbo engine.
I have since taken the car off the road and carried out the following:
2.0 Blacktop Zetec Turbo engine.
T3/4 Hybrid Turbo.
Cosworth Alternator.
RS Turbo intercooler.
Escort Zetec sump and flywheel.
Paddle clutch.
Full (windows out) respray in Mercedes Arctic White.
Full genuine S2 kit, bonnet, bumpers, arches and sideskirts.
Spoiler and rear wiper deleted.
MK3 rear lights fitted.
Escort GTi wheels in grey (not pictured but fully refurbed) with 195/50R15 Continental rubber.
Lowered 40mm on Koni shocks and springs.
I never built this car as a show car, and I didn't build it to race, it's just a good useable Escort with a bit of power and a nice paint job. It would be a good base for either though as all the right parts are there.
Car has 1 full years MOT
It's surprisingly good on fuel and is still registered as a 1.6 non turbo
Any questions feel free to give me a shout.
No timewasters. Also no-one will be driving the car without full insurance!
Looking for 2100 o.n.o for this, as it's a good low mileage shell with a useable engine and a lot of potential.
My number is 07547195340 and my e-mail is rikkimillar@hotmail.co.uk

Forgot to mention, I have now replaced the front scuttle panel and the bonnet. The bonnet was sprayed Matt black for the MOT but I will have this sprayed the same as the car in the next week or so.

On here people usually know what the car is really worth so I just price it reasonably and await their offers. The paint will be minty mint as it's going back in the booth next week.
I'll keep the seats in mind though mate, just been busy getting ripped off left, right and centre since I got the engine built. Never again!!
Might break it though?? How much do you think it's worth in bits? How long would it take me to sell the majority of it?

I know mate but after all the grief it's caused me and the money I've spent it makes me sick looking at it. If it's not gone by next weekend I'm going to keep it and get the pistons sorted for next year and some decent management too.
