MK1 Focus RS
my focus RS is now regretably for sale.
if i could justify it id keep this aswell as the escort which is about to come
the car has just pipped 91k
MOT runs until 8th May 2012
Tax expires end of Oct 2011
car was first registered on 24/05/03 and sold from my local ford dealership and PDI'd by my close friend S.Robinson to a Mrs Taylor.
Mrs Taylor owned the car for 6 years, with the only person ever servicing or working on the car being my friend Stuart, carrying out all its MOT's and routine servicing.
at 6 years old, Mrs Taylor moved onto a new ford and mentioned to Stuart that the car was for sale.
at this point another of our friends stepped in and bought the car, this being Dean who works over at MAD for Mark Shead.
during the following 2 years, Dean and Stuart serviced the car between them, but the MOT's still remaining to be carried out by Stuart.
after breaking my escort last year, word of mouth came about that Dean was considering selling the car, so i stepped in and bought it from him, making myself the 3rd owner of the car.
in the past 10 months of my ownership, the car has been MOT'd, serviced and any work now being carried out by Stauart once again.
i spent a small fortune on this car, with a no expense spared attitude, fitting KW Coilovers, AP's etc etc, but have now put it back to standard to sell on.
at most, the car has covered 1500 miles in my ownership, with it pretty much staying in the garage and only coming out for local RS meets, a trip thru to Le Mans and the odd sunny day outing
service history is stamped up 62k, the following service was due just after Dean bought the car, which was carried out by himself and Stuart, but no stamp was put into the book due to it being a PJ on Stuarts behalf and he was led to believe Dean was going to stamp the service book.
when i bought the car it was due its next service again, i had Stuart service it within days of picking up the car, buit again as this was a PJ, no stamp was entered into the book, but i do have a huge pile of receipts for all service items used at that time, aswell as a pile of receipts for lots of other silly little bits, things such as renewing suspension top mounts, a few rusty looking suspension bolts and clips just to give it a tidier appearance in places.
the car as it sits at the moment has been treated to a full car set of PowerFlex Polly bushes.
a full car set of black roose silicon hoses.
an airtec front mount intercooler kit in silver, and the silicon bends for this kit are in blue.
the car has a bluefin installed, with all boxes and receipt included, so you can leave it on or remove it at your own personal preference.
the car has a full mongoose system fitted, with a decat pipe.
battery has been relocated to the boot.
a stack boost gauge fitted to the A piller courtesy of the the Twins.
brand new discs and pads fitted to an overhauled set of standard calipers (DS2500's all round)
door handles and rocker cover have been repainted in a ford panther black.
headlights have been repainted satin black within the inserts.
AP Paddle clutch.
all wheel bearings have been replaced,
standard rusty RS sump has been replaced with a brand new item.
currently running on Fuch's Titan ProS 5w30 oil.
Goodridge braided lines all round.
the model of car has the none stitched front seats,
it has the pink gromet throttle cable,
it has the rear bench hinge covers,
comes with RS front floor mats (albeit slightly worn on the drivers side)
genuine ford RS leather wallet with all manuals.
everything works and functions on the car as would be expected, and without any faults.
the only fault i could genuinly say about the car is a very slight scuff on the drivers rear qtr inline with the door handle, you dont really notice it but worth me mentioning it is there.
the car is due in with a close mate for a full MOP/WAX/POLISH over the coming few days to have it loking as bufty as possible, and then it will be tucked up in the garage under its cover until someone wishes to view it.
the car is currently wearing satin black RL7's but they will be replaced with a set of standard wheels when its being buftied.
the standard wheels can be available in any colour of choice the new buyer wishes them to be in (silver/black..... up to you)
the K12 FRS number plate is not included in the sale, and the car will return back to its factory registered plate of GU03 OEX.
any other questions then gladly ask.
asking price is £7,800 ono.
i will consider PX on a small hatch, ie: Clio Cup/182 etc, WHY
im located in the south east on the Surrey/West Sussex border aprox 5 mins from Gatwick Airport
these are a few pics from last month, updated pics and interior shots to follow once the car is pulled out of the garage for the bufty.

i was going to make it a track day toy, and had a one off Pro Cooler kit made for me.
most of the front mount cooler kits you have to move the battery anyway but it then sits in a horrid position.
the cooler has since been replaced with an airtec item which is easily servicable and easy to live with for the main stream.
also, the FRS's dont have a spare wheel from factory, purely the foam insert housing an air pump and tyre foam, so it was dead space that could be utilised in a nice way

It'll be one of them in silver mate, most are white so silver is rare. There really good handling cars, you just have to nail the tits off them for the Vtec YO
P.S nice FRS been looking for one myself to try out

DJ & Justin, lovely cars chaps and I'd be happy with either, but both are to pricey to get the return I need on the focus.
Sorry.
Nomad, that's a shame mate, could have been ideal

ha ha Jay
ive got too many motul products in the garage anyway, cant think where i got them from
i have bought it, but havent collected it as yet, really need the focus to go to generate some more space and the spare cash to allow me to go and get it
plus, clio is about to have some treats thrown at it.
based on the above, focus can now come with the white set of RL7's, currently at a mates place awaiting a colour change but can stay white for ease.
price will now be £8250 with the RL7's for a quick sale.
Cheers
