escort rs2000 c20LET turbo plus cosworth look
decided to sell my mk2 was going to keep this one lol but just dont use it dont bother with shows or clubs anymore so might as well sell,
the car is mint and i dont use that word lightly ive built and owned dozens of these so you can be sure the description i givewill be accurate i wont waste anyones time ive travelled all over the country to buy so called "minters" only to find botched scrappers.
anyone that knows these cars will know how much they cost to build so please keep negative comments to yourself or i will have thread removed imo the car is cheap.
body shell is MINT only place i can see has had filler is the center of the bonnet which has a small sink patch can only see this under artificial lighting,has had brand new genuine wings at some point and all gaps are perfect see pics! the shell is fully seam welded front to back,front turretts,bulkhead etc,underwing strengtheners fitted triangulated to bulkhead,jack points fitted sill to chassis,full welded in rollcage,firewalled,gearbox tunnel modded,engine bay gussetts etc
spare wheel well/tank well removed as well as boot floor frame and re panelled flat,
front and rear arches rolled
fuel filler removed
the wings and front panel all removable!
chassis front to back/sills inner and outer/kick panels are all perfect.
chassis mounted
engine is a fully rebuilt calibra turbo motor c20 let,wiseco pistons etc have receipts for purchase of engine/loom/ecu and the same company then shortly afterwards fully rebuilt the motor/head receipts for £3500
doesnt seem to be running much boost have rolling road printouts made 329bhp@ 4600rpm
all samco hoses,oil cooler etc,frontera large intercooler fills the front panel,big header rad with race fan keeps everything cool,cone filter relocated inside nose cone along with the oilcooler
full custom 3" stainless steel exhaust.
2.8i type9 gearbox with quickshift seems to cope really well although you can now get a t5 bellhousing conversion which would be better for top end gearing,one peice uprated propshaft
suspension front is genuine gp1 bilstein coilovers
in situ adjustable compression struts
in situ adjustable tca,s
wide track tarmac kit with drop links to tca,s
roller top mounts
rear is bilstein shocks
anti tramp bars
panhard rod
atlas axle
plated lsd
axle has all brackets for link bars etc
power steering conversion with dash adjuster
wilwood front brakes
cosworth rear calipers
flyoff hydraulic handbrake
all goodridge braided lines front to rear with reuseable goodridge fittings
new bias pedal box will be fitted before sale!
12 gallon alloy race tank in boot along with
pump and filter,spare wheel post with alloy and new prada tyre,alloy washer tank,battery box etc
wheels are rare rial deep dish alloys with yoko a509s
inside the car it has corbeau corse seats
mint uncut rs2000 doorcards
willans harnesses
fire extinguisher
snap off wheel
various gauges oil/water/boost
adjustable power steering
heater box
cat 1 alarm/immob
flocked dash etc etc
probably forgot loads but you get the pic,this is a very quick car quicker than previous yb powered ones ive had,power is instant no lag but is very drivable but it is a handfull to say the least,sideways off the throttle with ease. power steering makes a huge difference and can be switched off on center console for trackdays etc
this car is built for speed its uncomfortable/noisey but gaurantee you will be smiling from ear to ear when you get out of it lol
speedo is not working if i cant get this fixed will leave in the road angel.

ybt is going well, although looks a little different now running 17's comps, changed the exhaust, has new front bumper and have lowered it a little.
Stick with the let engine tony - depending on engine spec, quick change of turbo and it will be amazing - my 350+ nova and corsa b were awesome fun
