Default ford scorpio cosworth estate lpg converted

i have a scorpio ultima estate that im putting up for sale
it is 1998 r reg 2.9 24v cosworth auto red in colour (magenta)

i have used this car for a couple of years now for travelling to my caravan at weekends but now i dont need it as the missus has got a decent car for the job now!!

hasnt let us down and is perfect for motorway cruising sits purring at 100mph

engine is mint and the box changes gear as it should

it is fully loaded, electric leather, cruise, dual climate ,air con, traction control ,tow bar..etc

it has a multipoint lpg conversion that cost £1500 .got certificate 90 litre tank in boot

car has been stood since october i have just charged the battery and started it up fine

i will be mot 'ing the car in the coming week so will have 12mths mot

i will sort out some pics and get them up

main bad points are rear arches starting to bubble, rear bumper has slight crack

car has just had a v.i.c check because damage to the rear bumper the damage was so slight it hasnt even been repaired

there is a slight tick from the exhaust only hear it when accelerating hard

there arent many of these about and the lpg makes it affordable to drive

i will be looking for around £1000 for it with the new mot

may sell it as it is depends on offers

Would love one of these cars for the LPG kit, does it use a separate ecu when it's on lpg?

im not to sure i know it wasnt a cheap system ,the wiring harness for the lpg interupts the wiring going to the injectors, ive had a few motors with lpg but have never taken one apart i know that when it changes over it is seamless not even a stutter

Sounds like a very clever self managed system mate.

Have you posted on http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/cgi-bin....pl?board=cars

Shame I don't have the cash - my Dad would have loved this (he keeps borrowing my Scorp Cossie!).
