Default Citroen AX Track Car, Fully 106 rallye Running Gear and Suspention


Here we have a Citroen AX with a difference.

12 Months MOT
6 Months TAX

The spec is as follows:-
1.3 106 Rallye engine
1.1 106 gearbox with a VTR 5th gear
106 Rallye front and rear suspension and anti roll bars
106 Rallye Fuel Pump
Full 106 Rallye loom and ECU
106 Rallye Front a Rear brakes
ATE Front disks
OMP fast road pads
Brand new P.I. 35mm lowering springs
Brand new Lemforder rear wishbone bushes
4 Brand new Yokohama Prada Spec 2 on 406 steel wheels
Brand new cambelt
Brand new waterpump
Brand new oil
Brand new Anti freeze
Brand new brake fluid
Cobra bucket seats on AX subframes
Sparco/Stabelt Harnesses
Magnex Exhaust
Polyflex rear engine mount
Fully Stripped out

The car drives fantasticly and is very fast for what it is.

I built it for trackdays but it is also road legal.

Absolutely, a 106 rallye is a hoot anyway, so the whole lot into a lighter shell and then stripped out has got to be even better, surprised thats all its worth TBH, especially considering the amount of money spent on it on top of that.

Gotta be 40mpg+ in normal driving with so little weight surely? Considering the that 106 rallye these engines came from was fairly good on fuel anyway.

doubt mike has driven it gentley enough to find out though

Very good mate if you keep your boot out the floor! It's only a 1.3. Tbh its pretty damm good even if you don't.
