Breaking My Mk1 Zetec Turbo Cortina ENGINE NOW FOR SALE IN NON RS SECTION
Ive decided to break the car after a long time of contemplating what to do with it... I no longer use the car really and its a waste just gathering dust in the garage!
Ideally it would be good to sell the shell rolling with the goodies that are on it as bits here and there have been modified to except parts ive used.
Im after £5k for the rolling shell
Obviously if anybody is interested in just the shell then im sure we can come to some arrangement...
So.. if anybody is interested in the shell rolling it will come with the following:
Complete cortina shell- doors, bumpers, glass etc
The shell has been modified in places, tunnel etc
Rollcage will be left inside - Bolt in
Escort bias pedal box which bulkhead was adapted to fit
Suspension: Escort Gaz Golds 2.5" coilovers up front, spax shocks on rear running standard leaf springs.
Front end set up: Old ford autos escort conversion, escort set up basically adapted to fit a mk1 cortina. Adapted steering coloumn, escort crossmember, serpherical top mounts, adjustable track control arms and anti-dive kit
Brakes: Willwood midilight calipers with willwood discs
Axle: Fostek Custom Atlas, Shortened in width with rear disc convertion, Quaife ATB diff Quaife two piece shafts and hubs, 3.75 ratio
Tramp bars and p/h rod
Wheels: compomotive ml's 13x7 wearing yoko rubber
Wiring will be left in the car so lights etc will all work
Engine bay will be bare
So the car will pretty much come as you see it in the pics

I absolutely love the car! I think its one of the best looking oldskool fords out there the mk1 cortina and if I had lots of dosh i'd keep it stored away somewhere but its just a waste to me if I dont use it!

Would be nice seeing the car go to a good home and maybe somebody that would have some big plans for it!
I think the cars done really well as it is, maybe with a bit more time spent on her I think theres alot more to come! Theres a 10s run in her..
