Default Escort Cosworth Racecar shell SOLD SOLD SOLD

I had hoped to get this built but theres no way i will have the time now so she has to go . Colin Smith sprinted this until earlier this year when it was sold to virtually every trader on the scene ,lol . I had it painted to remove the green side stripe and bought back a number of parts to assist, the quick release steering wheel & Column , wiring loom isolator and switch panel ,it has a very lightweight WRC kit on it ,wings ,spoiler, rear quarters bonnet tailgate and doors ,when it was complete it only weighed 1050 kgs and thats with a quaife sequential box fitted .GpA roll bar brackets are fitted ,a fuel cell box ,perspex ( apart from screen ) ,2wd front subframe and rack .Not quite rolling ,it needs TCA's and comp struts to complete that .The rear axle is a GpA Clubmans double skinned and strengthened beam and arms ,already modified for GpA drop links and Bilsteins ,blasted and powder coated with a black hammerite finish . £2500 or £2800 with the rear axle left in so you can add your own wheels and roll it out ! I also have a car set of Bilsteins ,front hubs & exhaust available seperately . It also has FIA ,Irish MSA and UK MSA competition logbooks and UK V5 Logbooked as a 1.3 escort on K plate although im not selling it as a roadcar !

It actually presents quite well and with a bit of work would be a great car again .the rear arches will accomodate upto a 10" wide rim ,ive rolled it around on 9x 18" Dynamics and even with an inch spacer theres still room !!

The vehicle EO03YRJ, a Ford Focus Zetec (3 Door Hatchback), is on our database.

I suspect ford havent done it by rining it onto an existing roadcar that was 10 years old when someone cut the chassis numbers out of it and welded it in to another car, so more than a little bit different

Indeed, just a case of them being able to tick a box saying "logbook present"

Looks a proper bargain anyway so I doubt whoever buys it will care
