Default 2001/Y BMW 520iSE Saloon £1995 **facelift model**

2001/Y BMW 520i SE Saloon, 5 speed manual.
2.2 straight six, 170bhp

Owned this now for about 4 years. Most of the time either my other drives it or it gets sat in the corner of the drive waiting to be used. Great car with fantastic spec. The condition is really good throughout and everything works.

Full SE spec with full leather and manual gearbox. HPI clear.

Metallic Grey paint
Black Leather Interior
Climate Control with Air conditioning
Business CD +CD multi-changer
Full electric windows all round and electric mirrors
Auto wipers
Multi function Leather Trim Steering wheel
Alloy Wheels
Parking Distance Control – Front and rear
Full Service History from new .
Angel eye lights
Remote Central Locking and total open and closure
front and side Airbags
Cruise Control
Auto rear mirror dimmer
There's probably some more spec that I haven't listed. There is a small scrape mark on the rear drivers wheel arch. Just slightly caught the paint but not the arch itself. That's it.

Good on fuel. Although not the fastest in it's line up, it'll still do 140+mph and 0-60 in under 10 seconds. Around town its approx 30mpg and on a run it will see 40mpg.

153k miles and has been serviced at each and every service interval, always by BMW until the most recent ones. All the service history is stamped up in the book. Last serviced less than 9000 miles ago by Wokingham MOT & Service Centre - Craig aka Moose130 from this site

Drives well and looks really good. It's not used so no point in keeping it

£1995 If it doesn't sell then I'll take it to Mallorca and use it there.

Too dear? Too far away? Horrible colour? Horrible spec? Wrong gearbox?

Probably the right car for me but skint lol!

From the one's i've sene it's more expensive than others of similar mileage. But it does look tidier. Maybe get a pic up of drivers side interior as people are wary of the bolsters wearing?

great cars but for some reason interest in them has declined recently, thus making them difficult to sell.
looks a nice thing and mileage shouldnt be an issue

I first read that and thought" what a cheeky bastard, this guys trying to sell his car" until I realised it was your car, username FAIL on my behalf!!

I think overall youve got it all spot on,just a really difficult Market for big cars right now.

Some idiot will probably go out and buy one with no paperwork but only showing 70k miles and wonder why it keeps fucking up!!

It sounds odd,but it's a bit of a strange engine size too,I think peeps will either want the derv or gas guzzler rather than the mid range motor.

It will sell, but I'd say maybe after Xmas now?

Thanks for all your feedback. Much appreciated
I'll add a couple more recent pics.

I've just got the go ahead for the plate to be took off and put on retention. It's back on a Y reg. Tax till the end of January 2011. Mot till July 2nd 2011. Currently on 152k miles but in daily use. Log book should be here shortly with the new reg on it. I have this confirmed by the DVLA in writing.

Any question then feel free to ask

The scratch on the drivers side rear wheel arch looks worse in the picture. The rest of the car is very good and doesn't look like it has done the mileage.

I've dropped the price to £1995 but I won't be dropping it any more than that as I will keep it.

Log book now returned so a quick recap - all documents present so it's literally ready to drive away. All you'll need is insurance.

Will p/x up on Escort Cosworth, 4x4 Sapphire, Evo6+, Scooby, etc

The heater works well and the winter tyres have helped while some of the other rear wheel drive cars just sit there spinning there tyres
