Beautiful Ebony Black facelift 4x4 Saph Cosworth
I have decided to advertise my Saph for sale. After a period of ill health last year we have moved house to a property without a garage ,and whilst I have the car safely tucked away under a quality outdoor cover I,m not keen on it staying outside over the winter. I am going to have a garage built but I may let the car go now, if I can get the price I want for it. If not I’ll just leave it covered up untill my garage is built.
The car is relatively well known on the RS scene and I hope the photos will show she is in beutifull condition. Never damaged,all factory seams and date stamps present and correct. She is one of the last Saphs with the facelift dsah ,Electric roof and AIRCON!!
She was first registred 25/05/1992 and was standard untill about 2006 when she was converted to stage three with a set of greens and an increase in boost. She has done a recorded 107000 miles and and the modifictions were carried out about 4000 miles ago .The drivetrain is still very fresh and tight.
The paintwork is Ebony Black and has a lovely polished finish, it really is like glass. The interior is again spotless with lovely Ravern leather, a SECS Ecu monitor, a B&M quickshift, a pillar mounted boost gauge, Sony Ipod comatible stereo and even cup holders!!I believe the cup holders are from an Audi and you wouldn’t believe how many people ask me about them LOL
Under the bonnet it is well detailed with just the right amount of shiny stuff and again its all spotless.Te suspension is AVO coilovers all round with new brakes back and front.
The wheels are as you can see very desirable 17" Rondell 122s and they are shod in brand new Yokohama Spec 2s 215/40/17s
Having had several cossies prior to this one I can comfortably say this is the best I’ve owned but my recent diagnosis with Multiple Sclerosis means that it will probably be my last. As nice as the car is I realise that I may not be able to keep on top of the constant attention these old cars crave to keep her in the beutifull condition she is now. I have decided that I’m going to get a Mk1 RS Focus as I feel the more modern car may suit my needs a little better now.
I have an absolutely huge history file with this car going back to day one with the original bill of sale including all bills MOTs ,TAX discs etc. The current MOT expires 28th March 2011 and TAX until the end of August.
I want £8950 for her and might consider a deal on an RS Focus but it would have to a really nice one ,low milage low owners etc and I wouldn’t be able to travel to meet you anywhere,you would need to come to me. I live on the North side of Milton Keynes so if you want to view the car it probably best to ring me on 07843052460. I cant always answer my phone, even hear it sometimes LOL( I work fo a formula 1 Race Team) so if I don’t answer please leave me a message and I will get back to you,probably later that day in the evening.
Lastly, hopefully I have made it clear that this has been a difficult decision to sell so please no negative comments and I wont be giving it away. If I don’t get what I want for her I’ll simply leave her covered up untill my garage is built,whenever that’s going to be

this is my all time favourite saph cossie. I love this car almost as much as previous owners of it have. This is the 2nd time ive seen it come up for sale and im gutted that once again im not in a position to be able to buy. I havent the garage room at moment and i wouldnt sleep at night if it was sitting out on the drive. Good luck with the sale mate, its stunning.

Mike, its the 6th time i've seen it for sale, the first time it was a 1 owner car, i bought it then, 2003 i think, it was a near standard car then, i had been looking for one for months, this car was under advertised but yet the best i had viewed, its probably the best car i have ever owned, as said i was the second owner, i sold it to a friend who had it for a while, he sold it to build a 30k+ mk1 escort, GingeRS had it from there, he sold it to Nigel, then it went to Gaz, each owner has loved & carefully treated the car, Gaz brought it back to me a couple of months ago for a service, me & Gaz went for a drive in it, it still drives really nice, feels tight like a car much newer

Right,too late! I've decided I'm keeping it now. I've come to the conclusion that I'll struggle to find another one this good so best to keep hold of it.
