And the last piece of the sell up puzzle is my current daily diesel mondeo. Been using this for the last 6 months or so which believe me is a LONG time for me to keep a car, it really has been a trustworthy tool and never let me down once, fantastic daily and will be sad to see it go. MOT : a full 12 months went through no problems June 2011 TAX : August 2010, yes I know its short tax, its been considered in the price so don't consider short tax a haggling point Mileage : Wait for it, 245,000, don't let that put you off as it looks like and drives like a car with less than half the miles, come and try it and you will see what I mean, it used to be a taxi, very well looked after. Service history : Complete, all the way up and over 200,000 it is a full complete stamped service history in the service book. Also very recently serviced by me, new oil, oil filter, air filter, 2 diesel filter changes since ive had it, 4 new glow plugs, refurbed starter motor etc the works. Engine : 1.8TD intercooled, 90hp, fantastic engine that hasnt given me any problems, always returned fantastic MPG and goes well enough too. Starts on the button first crank which is quite unusual for these engines as the others I have had need to be cranked a lot to get going. Running gear: All good no problems or fault to report, clutch fine, gearbox lovely and smooth with no problems, no knocks and bangs over bumps it drives fantastic. Brand new discs and pads on the front 100 miles ago and a new handbrake cable on the nearside Spec: Electric windows, power steering, electric mirrors, electric seats, aircon, front fogs, remote central locking and alarm. All working fine. Original stereo which actually sounds pretty damn good, keycode etc in the book. Bodywork : For a 11 year old mondeo its bloody good! no major rust underneath at all, only had 2 small patches of welding on the sills. No rust on the bodywork and the paintwork is good, no major dents or scratches, no cracked bumpers here! they are fantastic. The bodywork doesnt show any of the miles what so ever. Wheels: mk5 escort rs2000 15" alloys fitted with original size 195/65/15 tyres all nearly brand new, loads of tread on the spare which is a 15" steel with 195/65/15 on it. Not sure what else to say, it is what it is, a fantastic car to drive every day, very presentable and very cheap for the age and spec come and get yourself a bargain.
