1.8zvh Merc grey Fiesta RST. Fast Ford Feature car *SOLD!*
Nicely spec'd 1991 J reg Mercury grey fiesta RS Turbo
This car is having a full feature in issue 293 of Fast Ford magazine.
Has had Full respray inside and out. New wings, arches and fuel filler, inner sills all in last 4 years.
Fully rebuilt 1.8zvh with gas flowed head, new valvestems and reground valves fitted with a grp a headgasket and burton zvh headbolts. This engine has only covered 2000 miles.
T3 turbo with 38mm external w.g and screamer pipe exiting through bumper. Custom downpipe. Beige injectors, 195 chip, -31 actuator. ap 4 paddle with LSD rst gearbox.
Airtec FMIC and XR2i wider radiator with twin spal fans
Alloy Matt Lewis oil catch tank, samcos etc
Just fitted new Vibra technics engine mounts.
Brand new Ford headlights and ambers.
25mm Koni rear shocks with 25mm P.I springs, and 60mm P.I springs and standard shocks at front.
Zoo Motorsport rose jointed rear beam with rear suspension lock outs (I have not fitted the lockouts as they seemed abit too hardcore! but will supply them to buyer) rear 220mm mk3 golf discs and calipers, front 300mm compbrake 4pots with mint discs and pads. (These use st170 discs)
Brand new braided goodridge lines all round.
16" Azev A's with toyos all round with plenty of tread.
Long wheel stud conversion with open nuts.
Interior- carbon fibre boost and afr gauge holder
Red harness to match the Rs accesories steering wheel (I've only seen one other of these)
Flocked black door pockets, mint late spec black carpet
I have the complete interior i can give the buyer if they wish to put it back in.
There are a couple of small rust marks that can be easily rectified (see pics)
The exhaust system knocks the on the body when going over bumps, just wants loosening and straightening out. (again easily sorted) and the handbrake cable could do with replacing as it's stiff.
Other than this the car is spot on. Was tucked away all winter and started up happily without a single tap, knock or plume of smoke. This car is reliable, quick, well built and thought out.
Edited to add: This car was set up at Brody Britain Racing (BBR) only last summer. who we all know are a well known and respected cossie tuner that have been around for 20 odd years i believe. The fuelling is spot on and the beiges are at their limit between 6.5 - 7krpm. Beiges max out at around 230bhp so this is what we believe the power is around. I have receipt to prove set up.
Toad Alarm and immobiliser.
6 months MOT, 6 Months tax, V5 present, HPI clear and ready to drive away.
Price is £3850.
