I've not had the car long, but since I bought it, I've bought an uprated 6-spd Exedy Clutch and Lightened Flywheel from Lateral Performance and had it fitted at Steve Whitson @ SW Motorsport. While it was in, they commented on how clean this car is underneath, which tallys up with the low mileage of the car.
The only bad points I can think of are a few (5 or 6 tops) stone chips and the front splitter could do with a re-paint due to a small scuff that was there since I bought it.
It also has a private registration which is NOT included and will have to be removed before V5 is signed into new owners name.
Everything else on the car is brilliant, looks great, pulls strong, uses zero water or oil, no rust, makes a lovely sound and puts a massive smile on your face.
I'll have to double check the folder of paperwork, but I think its got a month or so MOT left to run.. so I will put a fresh 12 months MOT on it for the new owner.
I flew to London to buy this car, and haven't regretted that decision once, its my 6th Impreza and its a brilliant combination of Classic/Newage bits. Its also the best Impreza on fuel that I've ever owned too, on the motorway from England when I bought the car sitting at 70(ish..), the car managed to return just over 330 miles to a tank, which is brilliant for this type of car and level of performance!!
Hard to price something like this, but I've been looking for the past 6 months and you couldn't buy one of these cars as standard in the same condition as mine for much less than £4500........ sooo, due to the mileage, condition, options, mods, over £1000 I spent on a clutch and uprated brakes all round a fortnight ago... I'm after £6000.
Here are some pictures of the car:
Genuine people only please.

Grant

Thanks guys, its a great car... I'll guarantee the first genuine buyer to view will take it, I had a return ticket to fly home if it wasn't as described when I went to London for it, but once I saw the car and drove it... there was no doubt that I was buying it.
Paul, its not a Cossie that I'm after mate. Do still fancy one, but as I only really have one car, think it'd be a bit crazy to rely on a 3dr or Saph to wheel me around without giving me any bother.
Cheers,
Grant

Grant was kind enough to take me a quick spin in this tonight and if i had the spare cash i would have bought it.Its seriously quick, pulls very strong in any gear,no dodgy rattles or bangs or anything and lastly made me laugh from sitting in it till i got out of it and left me with tingly feet haha
Absolutely awesome car and really clean.Whoever buys it wont be disappointed at all

Thanks mate, it'll be a tough car to let go after hunting for it for so long!!
Hmmm, the heart tells me to go for an E46 M3 mate.. the sensible head tells me to go for a 330d Touring for the dog. We'll see what happens!!
No problem Colin, thanks for the comments. I promised you a wee run in the car when I got it and it was no bother taking you out last night. Haha, still laughing at you getting tingly feet!! You need to get something quick again buddy!!
Cheers,
Grant

I've been getting some of the same questions coming up in emails/PMs that I've gotten on the car, so here are the answers:
- The car has full history and lots of receipts too, its almost full Subaru dealer history, apart from the Cambelt change service which was completed at APi along with the 6-speed conversion, the total bill was c£3700 with a receipt to prove.
- At most, the car could do with an oil change service in the next couple of thousand miles.
- MOT is valid until May 30th 2010 and I'll be renewing the MOT for the sale, so it'll be valid until May 2011.
- I'm selling it because of two reasons, I am now travelling to work and need something which I can leave in a public car park without worrying that some idiot will open their door onto the car or catch the bumper when parking... something which I can't do with the Subaru. Plus I really don't want to knock up the mileage on the car with commuting either.

Grant

Might as well sling this up to the top since its been a month or so, took a couple of pictures the other day when out for a run to Pitlochry... you can see the difference that a set of wheels makes!! Its now got the Prodrive RB5 alloys fitted (they could use a refurb) but have very good Eagle F1 tyres all round.
The car also has just under 53k miles, 5 months tax remaining and about 11 months of MOT left now.
Reduced price to £5650.
Cheers,
Grant
p.s: Private Reg isn't included and once a sale is agreed it will be removed, the car will likely return to its original 2000 'W' registration.

Thanks guys, its a brilliant car and I'd decided to keep it since I pretty much only got time wasters a few months back when it was advertised... but needing something more practical and insurance friendly for a wee while since my girlfriend wont be able to insure this if the worst happens and I find myself without a licence.

Haha I know mate, not pushing the sale to be honest... getting fed up of all the timewasters. I am tempted to keep hold of the car and fit a few more bits and bobs.
Pauldo if you can engineer (...cause you're all qualified and shit now!! ) me a wee rendezvous with Coldo before Captain Birdseye gets a chance to corrupt him then I'll seriously consider that dealio.
