Just to let you know, I looked at this car yesterday (with a 6 hour round trip), and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement! It didn't have original front wings, had been badly repaired on the drivers side rear quarter, rot on the drivers door, body kit hanging off on both sides and probably lots more that I had missed.
Before I left to view, I asked if I could have the reg to HPI the car, and was told he had HPI from last year and all was clear. This isn't a digg at the owner, but obviously it was a long drive, and a waste of a day to see a car that was not as described.

I cleared the advert because the car is sold. Ive done 2 HPI reports today with HPICHECK.COM which cost £20 and its all clear. I have 2 seperate certicates to prove this.
So would appreciate if you keep your comment to yourself. Thanks

Chris has the HPi on the car from last year before i owned it and that shows the car being clear. This is was done through my mates work who use this to check all the cars they buy in. Chris has done x2 Hpi's today and both have come up clear and the one i had showed the car being clear aswell. These were proper HPi's not a £3 text check done from a phone, anyone who's in the trade will know how bad these text check services are.
Chris has done nothing wrong and is HPi clear on HPi i had and the ones he has had done today.

is that a pretend one then as i and 2 others have hpi,d it all coming back as write offs.
I didnt want to put anything on this thread but i cant stand this sort of thing as its is badly wrong.
ive used this service for long time and so do 3 of my good friends that are in the trade. Ive spent money and wasted half a day messing around trying to buy the car (and im not the only one)
Im just thankful i was contacted and told to check it properly which i did. As i did trust the owner and was not going to.
I dont honestly blame chris as he sounded a genuine guy that just didnt realise, what i would say though is when you have been told by these different people then its not going to be wrong. One thing i did notice on youre HPI is that you did not put the chassis number in, when the car came back from being stolen would it have a got a new plate? if so that culd explain it. Update youre check with the chassis number and see if it comes up.
I feel a lot sorrier for the 350 mile journey guy. Sod That

Not a clue, the one i had done was through HPi who we use through work itself and that shows the vehicle as clear, Chris has this Certificate as i let him have it when i sold the car. Chris also tells me he has 2 certificates he had done today that show the car being clear.

as i said to him earlier im sure someone will look past it as in the pics it looked a nice car and it was cheap.
i didnt view it so i wouldnt know, other people on here had vouched for chris which is why i dont think he knew anything bad about the car.
However there obviously is, but the car is sold now anyway so its not really chris's problem, im sure the owner is very happy with it.
he had even said to me about the rear wing looked like it had been painted so i dont think hes trying to con anyone.
